Memorandum of an Agreement made and entered into this Twenty Seventh day of July One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty one Between His Excellency Sir Richard Graves Macdonnell, Knight and Companion of the most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same, of the one part, and the parties whose names are hereunto subscribed being Lessees of the Kowloon Marine Lots of the description whereof is set forth opposite to their respective names of the other part.

It is agreed

1. His Excellency the Governor to reduce for a period of Five years from the twenty ninth day December last, the Rent of the under mentioned Kowloon Marine Lots to one fourth of the amount to which the Rents thereof are at present liable.
